I am a Tex Red Music Festival and Cookoff, aka “Participant”. By my signature below, I understand and acknowledge that I will be participating as a volunteer participant in certain activities at the Galveston County Fairgrounds premises and facilities (The “festival and Cookoff” located in Hitchcock, Galveston County, Texas.
As consideration for being permitted by the Festival , The Galveston County Fair grounds, the State of Texas, the County of Galveston, and any lessor of the premises, to participate in these activities and use the Fair grounds premises and facilities, I forever release Tex Red Music, The Galveston County Fair grounds, and any festival affiliated organization, along with their respective directors, officer, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives from any and all liabilities, caused of action lawsuits, claims, demands, or damages of any king whatsoever that I, my assignees, heirs, distributors, guardians, next of kin, spouse, and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, harm or property damage, related to (i) my participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence of other acts of any Releasee, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether of not I am the participating in the activities. I also agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND CONTRACTG BETWEEN MYSELD AND TEX RED MUSIC, THE GALVESTON COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS, THE STATE, THE COUNTY, AND THE LESSOR AND SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
The place of performance of the agreement and venue is Galveston County, Texas. This agreement shall be construed under the laws of the State of Texas, Contestants agree to abide by all Rules and Regulations, published or otherwise presented, of the Galveston County Fair & Rodeo, Inc.
Galveston County Fair & Rodeo Inc. along with TexRed Music, retains exclusive television rights pertaining to all events or additional contest held in conjunction with the Event. By signing below, Participant gives the Event permission to use video of Participant, including Participant (s) property, etc., for television and video presentations without compensation or prior permission of Participant(s).
THE CHIEF COOK IS RESONSIBLE OFR THE CONDUCT OF THE TEAM AND GUESTS.
